In the world of indigo dyeing, there are only two colors, blue and white. Yet, amazingly, it creates a variety of artworks. The pieces displayed in “Hundred Years of Taiwan Indigo” present delicate dyeing techniques with novel compositions and unique themes. Some of the artworks even had to go through more than ten times of repeated dyeing. It could not have been completed without great willpower. During this exhibition, we also hold a series of related events such as seminars and several DIY live teaching sessions. We hope to lead more residents to enter the beautiful world of indigo dyeing together.
